Service Centers: Benefiting Members and Credit Unions

Credit Union Service Centers is a national network of offices that act as branches for many credit unions at once. In Utah 29  credit unions expand their number of locations by six offices scattered throughout the Salt Lake Valley and in St. George. This gives their members more options for doing transactions with them, and increases the level of convenience. Experience has shown that members love service centers.

In addition, members of credit unions that belong to the Service Center network can do a transaction with their credit union at over 800 offices throughout the United States. Whether they're away from home on business or pleasure, they still have the option to do transactions directly with their credit union.

Belonging to Service Centers also provides advantages for credit unions. Not only does the increased convenience for members translate into increased member loyalty, but the cost of each of the transactions is much lower than at branch locations owned by single credit unions. Together, all of this translates into lower costs and increased ROA.
